Design of Healthcare and Laboratory Facilities  

Healthcare facilities are among the most demanding investment types in terms of functionality, technology, and organizational complexity. Designing a hospital, clinic, or laboratory requires addressing not only technical and formal standards, but above all, the workflows of medical staff, patient safety, and the seamless organization of diagnostic and therapeutic processes.

Since 2011, we have been delivering healthcare projects encompassing hospitals, outpatient clinics, laboratories, and medical education facilities. We design both general hospitals and outpatient care facilities, as well as specialized laboratories requiring advanced technological solutions and stringent safety standards.

In 2016, we established the company i+med, which combines engineering design expertise with medical technology know-how. Through close collaboration between engineers, doctors, and nurses, we engineer facilities tailored to the real-world needs of medical staff and the operational specifics of modern healthcare institutions.

Designing medical facilities involves managing complex interdependencies between architecture, MEP/building services, medical technology, and clinical workflow organization. Key considerations include sanitary safety, workplace ergonomics, internal logistics, and potential future expansion. It is the precise coordination of these elements that drives efficient facility operations and ensures high-quality patient care.
