Industria is involved in the construction project of a modern photovoltaic carport with parking infrastructure at Gdańsk Airport! We will be responsible for preparing the complete design documentation commissioned by the General Contractor – Polimex Budownictwo (Polimex Mostostal Capital Group).

The new parking lot will feature solar carports generating 2,700 MWh of energy annually, which will cover 12% of the airport’s total energy demand. Estimates indicate that the installation will contribute to a 13.5% carbon footprint reduction and an offset of 2 million kg of CO2 equivalent! Scheduled for completion in mid-2026, the investment will add 900 new parking spaces, bringing the airport’s total capacity to 6,500 spaces.

Polimex Budownictwo (Polimex Mostostal Capital Group) serves as the General Contractor under a design-and-build contract format. Industria is responsible for developing the building and executive designs for civil/road, structural, telecommunications, and electrical infrastructure (excluding the PV systems), as well as securing all necessary permits, approvals, and formal handlings, along with technical documentation coordination.
