H+H Calcium Silicate Production Hall

Industria developed a multi-disciplinary executive design and a replacement building design for H+H’s modern building materials factory in Reda. The investment encompassed the construction of a calcium silicate production hall along with site development, technical infrastructure, and utility networks supporting the manufacturing facility’s operations.

The project was executed for H+H’s first greenfield investment in Poland and one of the most technologically advanced building materials plants in the region. The new facility enabled the expansion of production to include calcium silicate blocks and established a hybrid manufacturing model combining silicate products and autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) at a single location.

Industria’s scope of work included preparing the executive design based on the tender and building designs, developing site infrastructure for architectural layouts and technical networks, and providing author’s supervision throughout project execution. The team prepared designs across architectural, structural, sanitary, HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, and industrial process disciplines, including steam and condensate installations for manufacturing needs.

The project also covered stormwater and sanitary sewerage networks, water supply systems, power distribution, as well as lighting and telecommunications infrastructure. The net floor area of the production hall reached approximately 4,348 m².

A key challenge was integrating advanced manufacturing processes with the existing infrastructure of the H+H autoclaved aerated concrete plant, as well as designing flexible infrastructure to allow for future capacity expansion. The facility was engineered to gradually increase production from 60,000 m³ to 120,000 m³ of calcium silicate blocks per year.

The project was also distinguished by its exceptionally fast execution timeline – just 11 months elapsed from the start of construction works to production startup.
