Expansion of ALSTOM Power Production Halls

Industria developed comprehensive design documentation for an investment executed at the ALSTOM Power facility in Elbląg, encompassing the construction of a shaft welding production and storage hall, as well as the redevelopment of existing industrial structures at the plant. The project was linked to the expansion of manufacturing infrastructure for the energy sector and turbine component production.

The investment involved the construction of a new production and storage hall dedicated to turbine rotor welding processes, complete with storage space and staff facilities for production personnel. The scope of the project also included the redevelopment of existing Halls A-20 and A-20A located within the ALSTOM Power plant in Elbląg.

Industria was responsible for preparing the conceptual design, building design, executive design, and providing author’s supervision during project implementation. The design spanned architectural, structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and electrical engineering, as well as the preparation of bills of quantities and investor cost estimates.

Specifications of the newly designed facility:

  • Footprint area: approx. 1,425 m²
  • Usable floor area: approx. 1,349 m²
  • Net volume: approx. 24,813 m³
  • Height: 18.39 m

The project serves as an example of delivering advanced industrial infrastructure for the power generation sector and heavy manufacturing industry.
