Industria, acting within a design consortium, developed comprehensive design documentation for the Białystok Science and Technology Park—one of the key investments supporting the development of tech entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer between academia and business in Eastern Poland.

The project was carried out between 2009 and 2010 and encompassed the preparation of full design documentation for the Białystok Science and Technology Park complex, along with necessary technical infrastructure and site development. The scope of work included the conceptual architectural design with visualizations, building permit design, executive design, as well as obtaining all required approvals and administrative permits.

The central component of the investment was the Technological Incubator and Administration Building, alongside the Technology Center. The facility was designed as a space supporting the growth of innovative enterprises, research and development (R&D) activities, and collaboration between the scientific community and the business sector.

The complex, featuring a usable floor area of nearly 12,800 m² and a gross volume exceeding 74,600 m³, was constructed on a plot of approximately 3.4 hectares. The investment value amounted to roughly PLN 53 million.

The project encompassed the preparation of full building and executive documentation, including the building’s energy performance certificate, investor cost estimates, bills of quantities, and technical specifications. Industria was also involved in obtaining the building permit and coordinating all engineering disciplines.

A key challenge was creating a flexible infrastructure capable of serving diverse functions related to innovation, tech entrepreneurship, and startup growth. The design required seamless integration of office spaces, laboratories, technology areas, and administrative quarters within a single complex.
