Industria developed comprehensive multi-disciplinary design documentation for the Dental Clinical Center of the Medical University of Lublin. The investment created a modern center for treatment, diagnostics, and the education of future dentists, integrating clinical, scientific, and teaching functions within a single facility.
The project was executed under a “design and build” contract formula and encompassed the preparation of the conceptual design, building design along with securing the building permit, executive designs, and demolition documentation. Industria was also responsible for providing author’s supervision during project execution.
Featuring a usable floor area of over 7,400 m², the facility was designed as a six-story medical complex equipped with specialized dental clinics, diagnostic facilities, and teaching spaces. The building consists of two functionally connected segments, with architecture tailored to optimize the organization of treatment, diagnostic, and educational workflows.
The center incorporates specialized clinical units, including an oral medicine clinic, integrated pediatric and adult treatment suites, an oral surgery department with an operating procedure room, as well as departments for periodontology, maxillofacial orthopedics, prosthodontics, conservative dentistry with endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
A vital component of the investment is the modern diagnostic facility, which includes dental and maxillofacial X-ray diagnostics alongside radiology suites supporting treatment processes and surgical planning.
The design also accommodated a central sterile supply department (CSSD), administrative, technical, and utility spaces, patient service areas, and modern educational spaces supporting the academic activities of the Medical University of Lublin.
A key challenge was integrating strict medical technology requirements with educational functions while ensuring efficient patient care and staff workflows. The project required multi-disciplinary coordination and the seamless integration of medical, technical, and educational infrastructure within a single structure.
Industria prepared a comprehensive design covering architecture, structural engineering, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), telecommunications, and civil/road infrastructure. Thanks to this multi-disciplinary coordination, a modern clinical dentistry center was created, meeting contemporary standards for medical care, diagnostics, and academic education.
